A minimum of 10 people per class session.
Participants are required to wear rubber gloves. This combination of solutions can be easily neutralized by adding a base powder. There are no hazardous environmental waste products resulting.
All participants are required to sign a liability waiver.

Copper Etched Long Stitched Spine Journal
Class Description:
You will be creating a one of a kind copper etched journal using your favorite
rubber stamped images.
In this class you will learn how to etch copper using everyday household
materials found in your local hardware and drug stores.
This journal will be sewn across a leather spine using the Long Stitch/Link
Stitch.
Supply List:
• Favorite Rubber Stamp Images;
• Bone Folder;
• Sharp Scissors;
• Ruler;
• Thimble and Large Eye Needle;
• Japanese Screw Punch or Awl;
• Craft Knife/Blades and Cutting Mat;
• Wet Adhesive (Beacon Tacky Glue);
• Dry Adhesive (Super Tacky Tape or Red Line Tape);
• Assorted bulldog clamps;
• Small hammer;
• Fine line permanent black marker; and
• Apron or Play Clothes;
Optional items or suggestions to enhance the class project: Latex gloves and
