November 2007

16 November 2007

It is finally coming together

Well, I have spent the past two days WITHOUT a NAP...

But it has been all worth it.

Chi-Chi finally has her own room all finished with her Chetah Girl Room.

She is getting so big.

So now I am still working on the boys room.  The beds have been spray painted royal blue and the walls are a wonderful light blue.

OK, now off to finish my projects.

What a Blast...

I always have such a great time when I go to Nashville.

The class was the bomb.  Everyone enjoyed it and we all had so many laughs.

Lisa not just brought her mom but she also had her sister with her.

It was great.  They made some of the most amazing art.  And they each had the same photos and all came out with different books.

I just love it.

Well, I have a few things due and I need to get them done.  Plus, the laundry has piled itself higher than normal.

So I am going to watch the Wizard of Oz, which by the way is my favorite movie on the planet, and fold some laundry.

Nashville Here I come...

OK, so as per usual, I am always last minute Anna.

I would not be Lauren if I was going to have things done days a head of time.

So I am suppose to be on the road but instead, I am here typing a blog entry.

I will be online tonight to show y'all the other stuff that I have done.  It is the bomb.

HOT DAMN!!!

Well, Well, Well...

Yesterday was not the day that I planned.

I came back from dropping a friend off at the Mall.  She is in from Nigeria and wanted to go shopping.

Being a NJ girl, the mall does not interest me like it does others.  I am an in and out kinda girl.

I get back to my house and the POD people are taking them out of my driveway.  No, why would you ask that question.  Of course they were not empty.

So I busted my butt and got everything in my garage in less than 20 minutes.

Then I get a call from school and Ziggy is running a fever.  Of course he has an ear infection.  So I run to pick him up and finally I get an appointment at the Doctor for 3.00pm.

While I am sitting outside, the mail lady comes and there it is in my hot little hand the Altered Arts Magazine for Nov/Dec.  And I open up the cover....

BAMMM, SMACK, right in my face, an ad for Ranger Accents, Glossy, Sepia, Crackle and Matte.

Check it out, this is my checkerboard in a full page ad.

This was a Ranger month for the magazine.  Jen Lowe, she got the cover and Roni Johnson has an article in it.  WOW

I was just loving it.

I have done it again!!!

You know every so often, I just think that my MOJO is all used up.

That there is just nothing left in my creative mind.  That I have exhausted all of my glue stick techniques and it is going to come to quick end.

Well, life has proven me wrong again.

I have just covered an office folder and added, I repeat, added some photos for those at the store in Nashville.

I believe this is what they call SCRAPBOOKING...  Yikes, I have, I have put photos on my stuff.

I have to finish one more page, but I need to get something else done for another company and it just needs to get done tonight.

I really think that all of this paper and glue can really stress a girl out.  One of the regulars in Nashville, LISA, is bringing her mother.  And yes, y'all know that when she told me her mama was coming, I panicked.

I realized that if this was not complete and done and "to die for".  My name would be mud.

So enough digressing....    Here it is...

The Color Quiz

OK, so Teresa, you know my friend with the eyes over the glasses.

She sends me this link to take the color quiz.  My first results were fairly on target these are the results from my first gut reaction.

you are gold
#FFD700
Your dominant hues are red and green, so you're definately not afraid to get in and stir things up. You have no time for most people's concerns, you'd rather analyze with your head than be held back by some random "gut feeling".

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.

Now the second time I did the quiz these were my results. This is the one where I picked words like Passive, Quite, Calm...  YEAH RIGHT

you are lavender
#E6E6FA
Your dominant hue is blue, making you a good friend who people love and trust. You're good in social situations and want to fit in. Just be careful not to compromise who you are to make them happy.

Your saturation level is very low - you have better things to do than jump headfirst into every little project. You make sure your actions are going to really accomplish something before you start because you hate wasting energy making everyone else think you're working.

Your outlook on life is bright. You see good things in situations where others may not be able to, and it frustrates you to see them get down on everything.

Two visits from the Tooth Fairy!!!!!!!!!

Yep, my little girl now has the "GAP".

Both of her front two baby teeth fell out over the weekend.  She lost one last night and one tonight while she was getting her bath.

She is so excited.  We have called everyone in the family and some people who are not.

She is just the bee's knees.
